Varicose Vein Treatment Canberra

Unsightly spider veins? Pregnancy veins? Painful and achy legs at the end of the day?

For many people, varicose veins present as merely a cosmetic frustration, that may start out as a painless problem.

But eventually, as vein disease progresses it can cause uncomfortable symptoms such heavy aching in the legs, burning, itchy and tingling in the legs and even more noticeable, gnarly veins and an expanding spider vein network.

If underlying vein disease remains untreated it can also cause profusely bleeding veins with a minor knock, and may increase the risk of blood clots and less commonly a potentially fatal condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
