Dr David Huber
Phlebologist (Vein Specialist)
MBBS, FRACS (Vascular & General) DDU (Vasc)

Associate Professor David Huber is one of Australia’s leading lights in vascular medicine – with four degrees in phlebology (vein expert), sonography, general and vascular surgery.

In 2022, with Art of Vein Care expanding to multiple locations, Dr Huber began specialising exclusively in phlebology (veins, spider veins, blood clots, pelvic vein conditions, and lipoedema-related vein issues).

Dr Huber also provides minimally-invasive treatments for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweat), an embarrassing and previously difficult-to-treat condition that causes excessive underarm sweat, odour and embarrassment.

Dr Huber obtained his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of NSW, before obtaining his degrees in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery and a diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (Vascular).

He further trained at the Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney, Prince Henry Hospital Sydney, The Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, as well as Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, Concord Repatriation Hospital and Wollongong Hospital.

A/Professor Huber is published in some of the world’s leading vascular journals including the Journal of Vascular Surgery, the Annals of Vascular Surgery and the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery.

He is passionately involved in continuing education for himself, his staff, general practitioners and allied health practitioners.

Dr Huber is a member of the Australian Medical Association (AMA), the Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the ANZ Society of Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology.

He is also an executive board member for the Australasian College of Phlebology
